As the owners of the Dürpellos in Unterburg, we were asked again and again by guests where to stay around here. That gave us the idea of turning a historic half-timbered house into a small, charming, cosy and slightly different hotel.

Directions & ContactWhen can we check in?
Check-in is from 12:00, in person until 20:00. If you arrive later, we will arrange access via the key box (Keyboy) with you personally beforehand.
By when do we have to check out?
Check-out is from 9:00 to 10:30.
Where can we park?
Free of charge at the Burg Brücke car park (Eschbachstraße hikers’ car park, behind Café Meyer). From there it is about 1.5 minutes on foot to us. We appreciate a short message about 30 minutes before you arrive.
How do we get to you by bus and train?
From Solingen Mitte station, trolleybus line 683 runs towards Burg Bahnhof. Get off at the Burg Brücke stop; from there it is a 1-minute walk to the hotel.
Is breakfast included in the price?
Yes. All room prices are per night including breakfast at the Bistro zur Burgstiege next door. Breakfast is served by arrangement Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 10:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 to 11:00. Outside breakfast times the bistro is closed.
Can we cook for ourselves?
Yes. On the first floor there is a shared kitchen with everything you need to cater for yourselves.
May we bring our dog?
The Liewermang on the ground floor can be used with a dog: it has its own entrance, a small seating area outside the door and a garden gate. Simply mention when booking that you are coming with a dog.
There are four of us. Which room suits us?
The Brezelkammer on the first floor can be extended with the Klönstübchen and its two additional sleeping places. The Klönstübchen costs €40 per person per night.
How does booking work?
You book directly using the booking form and can already see there which rooms are available. We check your booking and confirm it personally by email. Payment is made on site.
Can we cancel free of charge?
Yes. Cancellation is free until 2 days before your arrival: if you arrive on a Friday, for example, you can cancel free of charge up to and including Tuesday. After that we charge the full price. You will see the exact date when booking and in your confirmation.
